“Neuroalgae” is an interactive art installation that reads and analyzes human brainwave data, and physically transforms it to ultimately promote the growth of algae. With this project, I aim to provoke contemplation about the future of brain-machine interface technology and explore the potential negative impacts of overuse and reliance on this technology. I seek to raise awareness about the potential future where humans may lose independent thinking capabilities and become akin to algae, devoid of self-awareness.
